Nigeria Records 138 New COVID-19 Infections As Cases Rise To 61,805

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 138 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria. j

NCDC, In its daily update on Thursday, disclosed that 2 new fatalities were recorded.

12 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported new cases.

Katsina State recorded 44 new cases, while Lagos State recorded 35 new cases.

They were followed by Kwara State with 15 new cases and Kaduna State with 13 new infections.

Others are Plateau (7), Imo (6), Adamawa (5) Rivers (4), Yobe (3), Ogun (2), Oyo (2), Osun (1), and FCT (1).

So far, a total of 61,805 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded across the country

While 56,985 patients have recovered, 1,127 have lost their lives to the disease across the 36 states and the FCT.
