Nottingham Forest Sign Jesse Lingard On One Year Deal

Nottingham Forest have signed free agent Jesse Lingard on a one-year deal.

Lingard, who came through the United youth system and made 232 senior appearances, received interest from clubs in the UK and overseas but his preference was to stay in the premier league.

West ham united had opened talks to bring the England international back to east London after his successful loan spell in the second half of the 2020-21 season, while Everton also explored a move.

But Forest have won the race, further boosting their ranks as they continue an active summer in the transfer market following their promotion to the top flight.
