Nyesom Wike Reappoints Danagogo As Rivers SSG

Governor Nyesom Wike has announced the reappointment of Dr. Tammy Danagogo as the Secretary to the Rivers State Government.

According to reports, Danagogo tendered his resignation to contest the governorship primary of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party for the 2023 election in the state.

Danagogo, like many others, lost the party’s ticket to Wike’s anointed candidate and former Accountant General of the State, Siminialaye Fubara.

His reappointment as SSG was contained in a statement issued by Wike media aide, Kelvin Ebiri on Wednesday.

The statement said the appointment takes immediate effect.

The statement reads,” His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the Executive Governor of Rivers State has approved the re-appointment of Dr.Tammy Wenike Danagogo as the Secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG).

“The appointment takes immediate effect.”
