Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun Appoints Lekan Adeniran As New Chief Press Secretary

Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Lekan Adeniran as his Chief Press Secretary.

This was announced on Tuesday, in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi.

Talabi made it known that the appointment takes effect immediately.

Adeniran, a graduate of Mass Communication has over three decades of experience as a journalist.

The new CPS began his journalism career at The Guardian in 1992, where he covered the Social Democratic Party, Lagos State House of Assembly, and Governor’s Office, Alausa, Ikeja. He left The Guardian in 2001 to join the newly established Daily Independent.

He also worked with the Compass, Next, and National Mirror newspapers.

Before the appointment, he was the editor of Western Post, an online newspaper publication.
