Osun Gov Lauds Efforts To Improve Education Infrastructure

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has highlighted the positive impact of his administration’s investment in infrastructure on campuses of higher institutions within the state. Speaking on Thursday during the 8th combined convocation ceremony of the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Adeleke emphasized the strides made toward fostering a conducive learning environment.

The governor detailed his administration’s efforts to enhance the institution’s infrastructure, equipment, and human resources, aiming to provide students with top-tier training. He remarked, “I am particularly delighted that our administration has been working tirelessly to support the growth and development of this institution. We have invested in infrastructure, equipment, and human resources to ensure that our students receive the best possible training.”

Adeleke also commended the college’s Governing Council Chairman, Diran Odeyemi, and the management team for their commitment to improving education quality. Reflecting on his administration’s commitment to staff welfare, he noted the consistent payment of salaries since assuming office nearly two years ago, boosting morale among academic and non-teaching staff.

Addressing the graduands, Adeleke encouraged them to leverage their training for innovation and societal progress. He stated, “You have been equipped with the skills, knowledge, and expertise to make a meaningful impact in your communities and the world. I urge you to use your skills and knowledge to create opportunities for growth and development, not only for yourselves but for your communities and our nation at large.”

The convocation served as a platform to celebrate the institution’s growth and inspire its graduates to contribute to national development.
