Osun Governor Installed As Asiwaju Of Ede

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, was on Monday installed as the Asiwaju of Ede Land.

The event was witnessed by the governors of Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos states; first-class monarchs; business moguls; and other dignitaries from several walks of life from within and outside the state.

Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, the governor’s hometown traditional ruler, conferred the honour on Adeleke.

The governor succeeded his late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, who held the position until his death in April 2017.

The rites continued with the Ooni of Ife praying for the governor.
