Passengers Stranded As Abuja-Kaduna Train Derails

A train travelling from Abuja to Kaduna has derailed at Asha Station, leaving several passengers stranded in the Federal Capital territory.

On May 26, an Abuja-bound train derailed along the Abuja-Kaduna route, leading to the passengers being stranded in the Jere area of Kaduna State.

This marks the second instance in two weeks that the train has derailed.

The spokesperson for the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Yakub Mahmoud, said that a formal statement regarding the incident would be issued soon.
