PDP South-West Vice Chair, Adagunodo Is Dead
The South-West Zonal Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Soji Adagunodo, is dead. He died on Tuesday in the United States of America.
Adagunodo, who was initially the Osun state PDP chairman, reportedly passed on after failing to recover from an undisclosed illness.
According to the South-West zonal youth leader of the party, Seyi Bamidele, Adagunodo had been indisposed for some time and only recently returned to his base in the United States of America to attend to his health.
He said, “He was around in Nigeria till a few weeks back. He travelled to the US and we were all expecting him back in Nigeria any moment.
“We were informed of his passage just this evening. Further information would be made available shortly.”
He was the PDP chairman during the 2018 governorship election of the party and had a faceoff with the supporters of the then party’s candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, which led to his removal from office.
