Police Dismiss Two Officers For Requesting Bribe From Dutch Tourist

The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed two officers who tried to extort a Dutch power bike cyclist.

The dismissal was announced by the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Hamzat Adebola, at the police headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan on Thursday.

The two special constabularies identified as Jimoh Lukmon and Kareem Fatai, were captured in a viral video requesting money from the Dutch tourist.

The incident happened while they were on duty along the Moniya-Iseyin Road, and the tourist informed them that she was traveling to Abuja.
