President Buhari Sacks NIPC Boss, Hajiya Saratu Umar

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday evening, sacked the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Investment Promotion commission, Hajiya Saratu Umar.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, mafe this known in a statement he signed on Thursday titled ‘President Buhari terminates appointment of Saratu Umar as NIPC boss.’

Umar’s sacking comes barely a week after a scathing report unearthing fault lines in the Commission’s administration.

The report alluded the challenges to the NIPC boss’ “incompetence and mismanagement.”
