President Tinubu Arrives Lagos For Christamas, New Year Holidays
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to celebrate this year’s Christmas and New Year holidays.
He landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at exactly 3:23 pm on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, before leaving Abuja, the President had presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly for review and passage.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, it was revealed that the President was warmly received at the airport by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other cabinet members.
It read, “President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.
“Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members received the President at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
“Before his departure to Lagos, President Tinubu presented the 2025 budget, totaling N47.9trn, before a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.”
