President Tinubu Invites Labour For Minimum Wage Talks

The Federal Government is close to agreeing on a new national minimum wage as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has invited the organised labour consisting of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to a meeting at the Aso Villa on Thursday.

A close source in the labour leadership who craved anonymity made this known on Wednesday.

According to him, the president is willing to settle the lingering talks on minimum wage on Thursday and has invited the joint union presidents to a meeting.
