Sokoto Federal Lawmaker, Jelani Dabunga Dies After Brief Illness

A member of the House of Representatives, representing the Isa-Sabon federal constituency, Sokoto State, AbdulKadii Jelani Danbuga has lost his life after battling with an illness for some time.

The lawmaker who was elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, reportedly passed away in Abuja on Tuesday evening.

A chieftain of the APC in the state who spoke in an interview on the condition of anonymity made it known that his remains would arrive in Sokoto today for proper burial in accordance with Islamic rights.
