Three-Storey Building Collapse In Kano, People Trapped

A three-storey building has collapsed in the Beirut road area in Kano.

Some people are believed to be trapped in the rubble.

As of the time of this reporting, emergency workers had gotten to the scene on a rescue operation.

In a statement issued, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, sympathized with the victims.

He also ordered an intensified rescue operations to get to those trapped in the rubble.

Lamenting the unfortunate incident, the Governor promised that investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of the collapsed structure which was an ongoing construction.
