Tinubu Pays Osinbajo Surprise Visit In Abuja
The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has visited his fellow contender, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at his Aguda residence in Abuja.
He was accompanied by the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu among others.
Tinubu’s Thursday visit followed his emergence as the ruling party’s presidential candidate in the recently-concluded special convention of the APC held at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The former Lagos Governor defeated a former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, Osinbajo, and others, to clinch the APC ticket for general elections in 2023.
Since his victory, congratulatory messages have continued to pour in from other contenders, state governors, party chieftains, and some members of the opposition.
Less than two days after Tinubu’s win, Vice President Osinbajo sent his congratulatory message to the former Lagos governor who is considered his political mentor.
