Up And Coming South-African Actress, Charlbi Dean Dies Aged 32
South African actress Charlbi Dean, who was a cast in Palme d’Or winning film “Triangle of Sadness” — has died at the age of 32.
“It’s devastating,” the publicist said, while confirming a report that Dean had passed away on Monday from a sudden unexpected illness.
Dean, who was also a model, died in New York City.
Neither the representative nor the reports gave a lot of details on the illness that caused her death.
Dean co-starred alongside Woody Harrelson and Harris Dickinson in Swedish director Ruben Ostlund’s “Triangle of Sadness.”
The sharp satire about class conflict won the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year.
Dean was born on February 5, 1990, in Cape Town, South Africa.
